Order type: Market

Market buys fill instantly at the current price. Limit buys only fill if the price hits your exact target — slower, but precise.

Paste the CA into the swap app's search bar and confirm the token name matches the call.
Choose Market so the trade fills right now.
Enter 0.5 SOL as the amount you want to spend.
Set slippage to 15%. This lets the price move up to 15% between the time you click and the trade completes.
Review the total: you are paying 0.5 SOL plus a tiny network fee.
Confirm the swap. The tokens appear in your wallet in seconds.

Target: 2x

Strategy: Sell half at 2x, let the rest ride

Open the same swap app and select the token you just bought.
Choose Market so the sell fills instantly.
Sell 50% of your tokens at 2x. This returns your original 0.5 SOL to your wallet.
The remaining 50% is now risk-free — you can hold for a bigger move or sell in pieces.
If the trade hits your next target (for example 5x), sell another 25%.
Never wait for the absolute top. A smaller gain you actually keep beats a bigger one that disappears.

Start with 0.1–0.5 SOL until you are comfortable clicking fast.
Low-cap coins need higher slippage (10–20%). Larger coins usually work with 1–3%.
Limit orders are safer but may not fill. Market orders are faster but the price can slip.
Always leave a little SOL in your wallet for fees — about $5 worth is plenty.
